What is uterine cornual?

The uterus has two cornua, which are the uppermost parts of the uterus where it meets the fallopian tubes. The term "uterine cornual" can refer to conditions related to these areas, such as cornual pregnancy (when a fertilized egg implants in one of the cornua instead of the main body of the uterus) or cornual obstruction (a blockage in the cornua that can cause infertility or miscarriage). Treatment for uterine cornual conditions can include surgery or medication.
